We often use acupressure and tuina after acupuncture treatment of conditions involving muscles, tendons and joints, orthopedic problems and injuries .
Health Insurance
Some health insurance plans cover part or all of the charges for acupuncture services. We advise all patients to contact the member services department of their insurance carrier to determine what their benefits are regarding acupuncture.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping Therapy is the use of glass or plastic cups and a mechanical suction device to create a local suction under the cup to improve blood flow in order to relax muscles and promote healing. The use of Cupping Therapy is a traditional treatment method in the practice of Chinese medicine, has been a part of most cultures of the world.
